A winter in the woods

The winter wind howls its mournful tune,

As the cabin in the woods looms up soon,

A place of refuge, a place to hide,

But within its walls, terror does reside.

The snow falls heavy, the night turns black,

As the cabin's walls begin to crack,

The fire flickers, casting shadows wide,

As something stirs, something from inside.

Footsteps creak on the wooden floor,

A sound that sends shivers to the core,

The wind outside howls louder still,

As the cabin's secrets begin to spill.

Whispers echo through the empty halls,

As something unseen crawls up the walls,

The windows rattle, the shutters shake,

As something evil begins to wake.

In the depths of the winter's cold,

The cabin's secrets begin to unfold,

A darkness that's been trapped inside,

Now free to terrorize and to abide.

The fire flickers, casting eerie light,

As the cabin's walls give way to fright,

The snow falls heavy, the night turns black,

As terror reigns in the cabin's shack.

So beware the cabin in the woods,

Where terror lives and evil broods,

For in the depths of winter's cold,

The cabin's secrets will unfold.
